Paper towns - Book Review

 

Paper towns by John Green is a fairly good book. It is no the best John Green book I have read but I still liked the concept of this book. This book had a  lot of mystery in it and some romance to. When I first looked at this book I was like "why is a their a  picture of a thumbtack on the cover?" That question got explained in the book. If you have the same question then you will find out in the book just so you know.


Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs back into his life—dressed like a ninja and summoning him for an ingenious campaign of revenge—he follows.  After their all-nighter ends and a new day breaks, Q arrives at school to discover that Margo, always an enigma, has now become a mystery. But Q soon learns that there are clues—and they’re for him. Urged down a disconnected path, the closer he gets, the less Q sees of the girl he thought he knew.-goodreads

Non-spoiler review

The story starts of when Margo and Q(short for Quentin), who are neighbors,  are children and they go to the park. Margo finds a dead guy slumped to the tree at the park and they both race home to call 911. The story then flashes forward to when Margo and Q are teenagers and they have grown apart. One night Margo convinces Q to sneak out and help her take revenge on all the people that might have hurt her. For both of them  it was a long night but the next day when Q gets back to school he finds out that Margo has disappeared and is a mystery. But when q gets back home he finds out that Margo has left clues for him. As  Q solves each clue he sees that each clue leads to the next one. Q and his friends unravel each clue one by one and learn where and who Margo really is.

 

My review on the book

Now I would tell you more about the book but then I will spoil the book way to much. I recommend this book to John Green fans but also anyone else. If you really like , mystery then this book would be perfect since the whole book revolves around mystery. Anyway, I really hope

 you all read this book and if you do read it I hope you enjoyed it just like I did.
